When can Kindergarten students have visitors during lunch?
Braelinn will open the cafe to parent visitors starting the week of August 21st. Due to limited space, staff will be asking parents to follow the assigned days of the week based on last names. They encourage parents to eat outside in the courtyard area.
Monday: Last Name A-C
Tuesday: Last Name D-H
Wednesday: Last Name I-L
Thursday: Last Name M-R
Friday: Last Name S-Z
Can I walk my Kinder child to class?
We're here to help your child grow and learn independence at their new school. Because of this, Braelinn's policy is that no adults may walk children to class. The Kindergarten hall is a long walk; however, the halls are staffed well throughout the first few weeks to ensure your child arrives to their classroom with no problems! Touch base with your child's teacher at meet the teacher for details about the first of week of school drop off location.
When do I pick my child up?
This depends on if your child is a golf cart rider or car rider. Golf Cart riders are released after the car line and bus line. Car line for pick up begins lining up around 2pm and students are released around 2:20.
How do I use Infinite Campus/Blackboard?
Please note: In order to access Blackboard you MUST first have an Infinite Campus ('IC' -- also known as 'parent portal') login. After you set up your IC parent account for the first time, kindly wait until the next day to allow Infinite Campus to pass the information to Blackboard before attempting to log in to Blackboard.
