Kindergarten will have a rest time, so make sure your child has a rest mat to keep at school. These will be sent home periodically throughout the year for cleaning.
Do not send your child to school with a mini-back pack. They need a regular sized backpack that can fit a normal sized folder. No backpacks with rollers.
Braelinn's amazing teachers work so hard to build a trusting relationship with your child. This is a big change for everyone, and for some this can be an emotional time. Braelinn's policy is no visitors for lunch until the Tuesday after Labor Day. This gives the students time to adjust before having special guests! We look forward to seeing you around after Labor Day!
We're here to help your child grow and learn independence at their new school. Because of this, Braelinn's policy is that no adults may walk children to class. The Kindergarten hall is a long walk; however, the halls are staffed well throughout the first few weeks to ensure your child arrives to their classroom with no problems! Touch base with your child's teacher at meet the teacher on 8/2 for details about the first of week of school drop off location.
This depends on if your child is a golf cart rider or car rider. Golf Cart riders are released first around 2:10pm. Kinder parents are expected to meet their child near the busses so teachers can make sure they each go home with the correct family. Car line for pick up begins lining up around 2pm.
